PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the generation of sag of a weft near the folded part of a weft end, prevent the formation of defective selvage caused by the hooking one a warp and perform stable formation of selvage in a tuck-in device to introduce a weft into the opening of warps while folding the end of the weft by the jet flow ejected from a nozzle placed at a side of a warp row. SOLUTION: The tuck-in device introduces an end of a weft into a warp opening by the cooperative action of jet flows ejected from a plurality of nozzles placed at a side of a warp row. The plurality of nozzles contain tuck-in nozzles placed near the cloth-fell and directing nearly parallel to the cloth-fell and one or more auxiliary tuck-in nozzles attached to the tuck-in nozzle, forming an acute angle to the cloth-fell and directed toward the feeding side of the warp row. A jet flow is applied to the end of the weft by the auxiliary tuck-in nozzle prior to the ejection from the main tuck-in nozzle.
