On printing with conventional pigment print pastes, low-flammable fibres lose their flame-resistant property in the areas covered by the print paste. It was therefore necessary to find a binder system that possesses low flammability properties itself.
This is achieved by using polymers and/or copolymers of vinylidene chloride as pigment binder system, since this does not impair the low flammability of these special fibre types.
