PROCESS OF TEST OF COMPACTION OF ASPHALT-CONCRETE PAVEMENT AND DEVICE FOR ITS REALIZATION

construction industry. SUBSTANCE: process includes transmission of variable electric field through surface layer of pavement and measurement of electric capacitance of pavement. First of all value of averaged air gap in plane of contact of electrodes with pavement is found with minimal distance between electrodes of different polarity and compared with values of averaged air gaps with known values of electric capacitance obtained in advance by traditional method of " sand spot ". Then value of electric capacitance with distance between electrodes of different polarity commensurable with thickness of pavement is measured. Factor of compaction is found by obtained value and value of averaged air gap by way of comparison of mentioned indices with laboratory values of factor of compaction of asphalt concrete of same composition. Device for realization of process is presented in description. EFFECT: raised accuracy of process of test of compaction of asphalt-concrete pavements with simultaneous reduction of labor input and time of test in process of laying on construction site, increased accuracy of device determining averaged air gap characterizing roughness of pavement. 2 cl, 2 dwg, 2 tbl
