ANODE CASTING MOLD AND MOTHER MOLD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anode casting mold which does not occur mold tension at the edge (especially, bottom) of the anode body, and also provide a mother mold for manufacturing such anode casting mold. SOLUTION: This mold for casting a copper electrolytic anode having a pair of suspension lugs at both sides of the top of anode body, has the groove of a shape corresponding to the anode body and suspension lugs, and is provided with a gate for preventing molten metal from blowing out at a portion adjacent to the bottom part of anode body. Another objective molten mold for producing the above anode casting mold has a complemented shape having a projecting part corresponding to both anode body and suspension lugs and also a groove corresponding to the gate.
