PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dimethyl ether reforming catalyst that reforms dimethyl ether to obtain a higher hydrogen content of gas, and a fuel cell device using the dimethyl ether reforming catalyst. SOLUTION: A dimethyl ether reforming catalyst is formed by making a solid acid carry copper, or copper and at least one kind of transition metals excluding copper. A mixed gas obtained by a reforming device 2 using this dimethyl ether reforming catalyst is supplied to a fuel cell 4 as fuel gas.
