PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas generator for an air bag suppressed in the whole dimension of a vessel. SOLUTION: A housing 3 is provided with two combustion chambers 5a, 5b for storing gas generating means 9a, 9b, one combustion chamber in the two combustion chambers 9a, 9b is provided in an upper space side of an inner cylinder member 4 arranged in the housing 3, two ignition means 12a, 12b are provided in the lower space side of the inner cylinder member 4, and the upper space and the lower space are partitioned by a partitioning wall 7. |
