SOLUTION: In the bathtub water cleaning device by which the bathtub water 2 in a bathtub 1 is sucked with a pump 3 and is sterilized with chlorine generated by a chlorine generation means 4, and the bathtub water 2 is returned into the bathtub 1, and is circulated, a chlorine sensor 5 for detecting a chlorine concentration in the bathtub water 2 is provided on the device, and a chlorine generation quantity by the chlorine generation means 4 is varied and controlled in accordance with the chlorine concentration detected by the chlorine sensor 5.
