PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable type printing device capable of assuring its safe carrying and further its use under a stable attitude also during its use at a table. SOLUTION: This portable type printing device 1 is installed at a belt of a user and the like and carried on the user. This device is comprised of a main body 3 provided with a recording paper discharging segment 2 at its surface where a recording paper P is discharged, and a grip 4 installed at a rear surface of the main body and press contacted against the rear surface to hold the belt and the like between it and the main body. In the case that the grip is formed to be shorter than a length of the main body and the main body is placed on a table, a part of the grip and a part of the main body are contacted with the surface of the table, and further the grip and the contacted portion of the main body with the table are provided with anti-slip members 5 and 6.
