PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the depth of tillage by a rotary tiller to be goodly set by a tillage depth-setting device. SOLUTION: This rotary tiller has a tine shaft rotary having both of a normally rotating tine shaft cylinder having a normally rotating tillage tine, and a reversely rotating tine shaft cylinder having a reversely rotating tillage tine, and horizontally supported at the lower part of a tillage-part machine frame, and a tillage depth-setting device installed in the rear end part of the tillage-part machine frame. The reversely rotating cylinder rotates around an axis center tilted so as to be lowered in the outer direction, and the tillage depth-setting device 12 is arranged within the range of tilling width tilled by the aslant and reversely rotating tillage tine.
