PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste gas treatment apparatus capable of reliably removing harmful substances in a waste gas. SOLUTION: The waste gas treatment apparatus of is provided with a treatment cylinder 3 for thermally decomposing object substances in a waste gas and the treatment cylinder 3 is divided into a first section 301 and a second section 302. The first section 301 is connected to an introduction pipe 7 for waste gas introduction in one end and also communicating with one end of the second section 302 in the other end and contains a heat source 304 for heating a waste gas in the inside. The second section 302 is connected to a discharge pipe 9 for discharging the waste gas in the other end and filled with a treatment agent to promote the thermal cracking of the object substances in the inside.
