PURPOSE:To prevent a laser beam from being wrong irradiated by an electric noise by controlling a processing laser beam oscillating part, which is actuated by controlling a switch, by an optical signal. CONSTITUTION:When a control lever 16a in a switch 16 is pressed, a mirror 17 receives guide light emitted from the first output terminal 9a of a light branching device 7 to air in a hand piece 6. The guide light is incident upon a switch detecting fiber 15 and guided to a switch detecting part 2 in a laser device main unit 1 to detect the switch 16 to be pressed. Then in the switch detecting part 2, a signal is fed to a processing laser beam oscillating part 3 to control it. Thus by using no electrically transmitting means at all for a connection cable in the hand piece 6 and between the hand piece 6 and the laser device main unit 1, possibility is eliminated such that a processing laser beam is wrong emitted by misoperation of a laser device due to an electrical noise such as static electricity for the hand piece 6 and the connection cable. |
