<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antifreeze composition which inhibits aluminum and its alloy used in the cooling system of an internal combustion engine from blackening. SOLUTION: This composition mainly comprises a glycol containing a corrosion preventive, contains a hydroxylated flavone derivative, does not contain an amine, nitrite, phosphate, borate or silicate, and effectively inhibits aluminum and its alloy from blackening.</p> |
