PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flow control valve using a thermoelement and capable of reducing size and preventing the flow resistance due to the thermoelement without increasing the number of parts items. SOLUTION: In a case 10, a flow control valve element 20, valve seats 13, 14, a control valve element energizing spring 60, a balance valve element 30, a balance valve element energizing spring 70, and a thermoelement 50 having an operating rod 51 are provided. Discharge flow flowing in a space between the control valve element 20 and the valve seats 13, 14 is controlled constant by taking a balance of the liquid pressure of the flow-in fluid with the spring pressure, and extension and shrinkage of the operating rod 51 of the thermoelement 50 to be extended and shrunken in response to the liquid temperature is added to a position of the control valve element 20 so as to control the constant flow in response to the liquid temperature. In a flow control valve with this structure, the thermoelement 50 is fitted to the control valve element 20.
