PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a cooling water rotary joint from getting in the way of monitoring of work, prevent generation of such a risk that water is leaked from an attaching part, facilitate dismounting and cleaning, shorten an inner width of the axial direction of a roll of a sealed case, simplify a dismounting/ mounting operation of the roll, and employ a commercial standardized geared motor capable of easily getting in a low cost. SOLUTION: Roll shafts are supported in parallel with each other by a bearing disposed in a bearing box, a load in a direction contracting a distance between roll shafts is applied on the bearing box, and a pair of rolls are mounted on end parts protruded to the same direction from the bearing box of the roll shafts. A gear in the gear box connected to an end surface of the bearing box is attached to an end part protruded from the bearing box in a direction reverse to the roll of the roll shaft, an opening of a passage for cooling water disposed on a center line of the roll shaft is disposed on an end surface protruded from the gear box, and a water leading pipe inserted on the center line of the passage and a rotary joint having an inlet and an outlet for cooling water are connected to the opening, and thereby, the roll can be cooled.
