PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the construction period of tunnel construction, by executing tunnel-excavating works by blasting method to the face ground, and efficiently executing works at the lower portions of the tunnel with a variety of working machines, in parallel with the excavating works. SOLUTION: There is provided a gantry, which is obtained by installing an endless crawler belt at a lower end of a front side post of a frame stand which is long in the longitudinal direction of a tunnel, via an elevating jack, and axially supporting a wheel at a lower end of a rear side post. In the gantry, the endless crawler belt is made to move on an excavated bottom surface on a face ground side, and the wheel is moved on a tunnel bottom surface at the rear of the face ground. Then, working machines disposed on the frame stand, such as a drilling machine, a work cage, and a concrete spray machine, are used for executing blasted hole boring works and lining works with respect to the face ground, while a variety of members such as timbering, and working machines are made to pass through the lower space of the frame stand, in parallel with the works with the working machines.
