PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication terminal which receives a DTMF signal, converts ringing melody data stored in a storage section into the DTMF signal and transmits the converted signal that can transfer data to other terminal by acoustically coupling a receiver (speaker) of the communication terminal with a transmitter (microphone). SOLUTION: The communication terminal, that stores data relating to a ring tone received from an external device via a voice input means to a storage means, is provided with a conversion means that converts the data relating to the ring tone stored in the storage means into the DTMF signal and with an output means that outputs the DTMF signal converted from the ring tone by the conversion means.
