PURPOSE: A tread rubber composition for a light truck, which has an improved wear-resistant property, is provided. CONSTITUTION: The tread rubber composition for a light-truck comprises: (i) 100 parts by weight of mother rubber being composed of polystyrene-butadiene rubber and polybutadiene rubber in a ratio of 7:3-9:1; (ii) 52-60 parts by weight of carbon black; and (iii) 3-11 parts by weight of oil. In the composition, the polystyrenebutadiene rubber is a vulcanized polystyrene-butadiene rubber having a styrene content of 23.5% and the polybutadiene rubber is composed of 97.5% of cis-1,4 structure, 1.2% of trans structure and 1.3% of vinyl structure. |
