PURPOSE: A circuit for driving surface wave filter of a digital television is provided to reduce a manufacturing cost of a digital television by simplifying a structure of an amplification circuit. CONSTITUTION: The circuit comprises the first amplification portion(120), the first digital surface acoustic wave filter portion(130), an analog surface acoustic wave filter portion(170), the second amplification portion(140), and the second digital surface acoustic wave filter portion(150), and a decoder(160). The first amplification portion(120) amplifies received data to a predetermined level. The first digital surface acoustic wave filter portion(130) passes only a digital broadcasting frequency band of the amplified data. The analog surface acoustic wave filter portion(170) passes only analog broadcasting frequency band of the amplified data. The second amplification portion(140) amplifies the output of the first digital surface acoustic wave filter portion to a predetermined level. The second digital surface acoustic wave filter portion(150) passes only digital broadcasting frequency band of the outputs from the second amplification portion. The decoder(160) decodes signals from the second digital surface acoustic wave filter portion and the analog surface acoustic wave filter portion.
