PURPOSE: A can container having a cap assembly is provided to protect a fingernail in opening a can with an opening tool, to prevent dust or foreign matters from flowing into the can, and to cut down production costs. CONSTITUTION: A cap assembly(22) is composed of a cap(24) and an opening tool(26). The cap seamed in an opening of a can(20) has an opening piece(30) with a notch(28) and a protrusion(32) punched upward in a lower part of the opening piece. The opening tool made of synthetic resin is movably combined with the protrusion, and prevented from being separated from the protrusion. The opening piece is pulled out upward by cutting the notch with the pulled opening tool. In picking up the opening tool by a finger, the fingernail is prevented from being injured. Dust and foreign matters are prevented from being put in the can with the opening piece pulled upward.
