PURPOSE: A long range fishing apparatus having a float shooting device, an arrow-float, and a dried paste bait, and a long range float fishing method are provided to freely set a fishing point distance and the depth of water according to the individual taste and ability. CONSTITUTION: A long range float fishing apparatus comprises a float shooting device(000), an arrow-float(007), and a collecting knot(008). The float shooting device consists of a float detaching device(001) for loading and shooting the arrow-float, and a mount(341) mounted on a glass fiber rod for shooting(331). The arrow-float is blown away by using the elasticity and the centrifugal force of the components as stated above. Therefore, the long range float fishing apparatus is capable to substitute all kinds of fishing rod having different length by using only one glass fiber rod for shooting. Also, a fishing point distance and the depth of water are freely and accurately set according to the individual taste and ability, so that a unique float fishing technique is performed.
