The mobile telephone includes a housing (2) with radio transmitting and receiving circuits (3) for electrical signals, and acoustic transmitting and receiving circuits (12) for acoustic signals corresponding to the electrical signals. Further radio receiving circuits (20) e.g. for FM frequencies are provided for generating further electrical signals. A switching circuit (19) is connected to all three circuits to output second acoustic signals corresponding to either of the electrical signals.
