<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection switching device which re-establishes a repeating connection immediately without influence on existent media when a communication device including, especially, a CLAD process part switches the repeating connection of an ATM network as to ATM communication. SOLUTION: The connection switching device comprises a terminal interface, a cell conversion part which generates a cell from the data of the terminal interface, a cell transmission part which sends the cell out to a plurality of repeating connections, a cell reception part which receives cells from the repeating connections, a plurality of restoration parts which restore the data of the received cells for each repeating connection, and a reception switching part which selects one of the restoration parts corresponding to a normal repeating connection and outputs the restored data to the terminal interface.</p> |
