PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image-fixing device, capable of lessening the offset that coloring particulates forming the image formed on a recording medium come into contact with its image surface, when the image is heat fixed by passing current between rollers. SOLUTION: When an image adhered and formed by adhesion of toners together with a carrier liquid onto recording paper P is heat fixed onto this recording paper by the fixing roller 3 coming into contact with its image surface and the backup roller 14, abutting on the rear surface of the recording paper, the current is passed between both rollers. This fixing roller is constituted by forming a surface layer impregnated with fluororesin in the pores formed in a porous anodically oxidized film on the surface of an aluminum core. The offset of the toners to the fixing roller can be lowered by the high release property of the fluororesin.
