PURPOSE: A back light assembly is provided to be capable of fitting a life time of each lamp equally by equalizing a current applied to each lamp regardless of a time taken to stabilize each lamp. CONSTITUTION: A lamp unit includes a plurality of lamps(215,220,225), a lamp reflection plate and at least two inverters(250,270). Each of the lamps(220,225) has a hot electrode(216,221,226) supplied with a high frequency alternating current voltage and a cold electrode(217,222,227) supplied with a fed-back current. The lamp reflection plate surrounds the lamps(215,220,225) and has an opened side opposite to a light guide plate so as to be fitted in the light guide plate. The inverters(250,270) are electrically connected to the lamps(215,220,225) through a wire and apply a high frequency voltage to each of the lamps(215,220,225). |
