PURPOSE: A method for recovering an existing package at a standby load in a mobile communication system is provided to reduce a service suspend time if an error occurs when a new package is executed after the standby load, by performing the switch of a board again, and thereby recovering the existing package. CONSTITUTION: If a standby loading instruction is received(411), the new package is loaded to a BSC(Base station transceiver Subsystem Controller)(413). When a board switch instruction is inputted from an operator, a board switch message is transmitted to the BSC(415-419). When an execution instruction is inputted from the operator, an execution message is sent to the BSC(421-425). If an error generated message is received from the BSC, it is displayed(427-433). After the display of the error generated message, a board switch message is inputted from the operator(435). A board switch message is sent to the BSC in response to the board switch instruction(437). After the transmission of the board switch message, an execution message is received(439,441). An execution message is sent to the BSC so that an existing package under an active stat can be executed(443,445). |
