PURPOSE: A device for controlling an idle speed actuator is provided to prevent sudden acceleration of a vehicle or sudden stoppage of an engine and to improve performance of a vehicle by automatically cutting off a drive power of an idle speed actuator. CONSTITUTION: An idle speed actuator control device comprises: a reset signal generating unit(12) generating a reset signal synchronized with a rising edge or a falling edge of a driving signal outputted from an engine ECU(Electronic Control Unit)(10); a time counter(13) counting time before input of the reset signal and outputting a high overflow signal after specific time; a NAND gate(14) inverting the overflow signal; and an AND gate(15) applying a logic signal obtained by logically operating the driving signal of the engine ECU with the output signal from the NAND gate to the base of a power transistor(Q1). The engine ECU outputs a driving signal to turn on the power transistor. An idle speed actuator(11) connected to the collector of the power transistor is operated upon turning on of the power transistor. The idle speed actuator controls the idle speed of an engine by adjusting the opening degree of a bypass path of a throttle body. According to sustenance of the opening degree of the bypass path in a predetermined value, sudden acceleration of a vehicle or sudden stoppage of an engine is avoided.
