PURPOSE: A quick ice maker/deicer is provided to produce ices of different types and tastes in an easy and convenient manner without mixing flavors. CONSTITUTION: In a freezer utilizing a refrigeration cycle consisting of a compressor(11), an evaporator(12), a condenser(13) and an expansion valve(14), a case(25) is installed to surround the overall outer surface of the freezer. The evaporator with a refrigerant pipe(22) shaped as a flat plate, is mounted onto the case. An evaporating tray(21) is mounted onto the refrigerant pipe in such a manner as to be exposed from the upper surface of the case. A heat insulator(23) is mounted beneath the refrigerant pipe in such a manner as to surround the refrigerant pipe. A deicing unit for deicing the residual material in the evaporating tray, is arranged in the refrigerant flow channel of the refrigeration cycle. The evaporating tray and the refrigerant pipe are formed integrally into a single unit.
