PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an economic image forming device which can sufficiently use a process unit up to the life while developer is effectively used without waste as much as possible. SOLUTION: The toner residual amount of the process unit 10 which is used at present is judged from the number of formed images by the counting of a second counter 52. When the toner residual amount becomes less in judgment, it is judged whether the process unit 10 is nearly dead or not from the number of formed images by the counting of a first counter 51. When it is nearly dead, effect that the exchange of the process unit 10 is required is informed by the display of a display part 45. |
