SWITCH AND ELECTRONICS USING IT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switch in use for detecting the presence of recording media of various electronics and the operation of the mechanisms, which is smaller, thinner and more contact-stable, and to provide electronic equipment using it. SOLUTION: A switch which has a movable contact body 14 formed of an elastic thin plate and arranged in a case 11 and an rotatable operation body 16 arranged laterally at one end of the case 11 is operated by driving a second end 14B of the movable contact body 14 at one end of the operation body 16. The switch is thus reduced in size in height and so the whole switch can be smaller, thinner and more contact-stable.
