PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an AC adapter, in which a DC output plug and DC output cord are arranged and stored easily. SOLUTION: An opening 11c is formed on one side surface of the housing 11 of a body 10, so that an output plug 13 on the front end of an output code 14 is insertedly retained thereinto, peripheries of both upper and lower surfaces, serving as jaws 11b, protrude from a side surface so as not to deviate therefrom, even if the output cord 14 is wound around the side surface. Since a surface 11f having the opening 11c is withdrawn from the side surface 11a, the retained output plug 13 can be arranged without extensively protruding from an outer shape. If a power source plug 12 is formed into a folding form to be storable into a slit 11d, a more compact storage condition can be attained.
