METHOD AND DEVICE FOR PICKING UP IMAGE BY LINE SENSOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To uniformly reproduce luminance in a visual field and to prevent an image from being deteriorated in the case of employing a line sensor consisting of a plurality of photoelectric conversion elements arranged in a line to pick up an image of an image pickup object. SOLUTION: A cylinder lens 5 collects only lights that are reflected in a linear object area along an arrangement direction of the photoelectric conversion elements and propagated within a vertical plane to the arranged direction of the photoelectric conversion elements among reflected lights L1 from the image pickup object 3, and makes the collected light incident onto an optical fiber image transmitter 6 with an input face 6b that can forms an image and an output face 6c corresponding to the arrangement of the photoelectric conversion elements. The collected light is led to the output face 6c at an optional optical magnification and the output light from the output face 6c is made incident onto the arrangement of the photoelectric conversion element. Thus, the light reflected from the linear object area is collected, unmagnified and uniformly illuminated and led similarly to the arrangement of the image pickup element.
