KEY INFORMATION TRANSMISSION AND RECORDING SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transmit or record key information together with data without making the location of the key information clear lowering the data quality. SOLUTION: An ECC addition part 13 of an encoding device 1 generates and adds an error correction code (residue) for correcting an error of data to the data. A key information addition part 14 adds pieces K1 and K2 of key information as restorable errors to the data and transmits them through media 3 or records them to the media 3. The transmitted or recorded key information is separated into the pieces K1 and K2 of key information after error correction of data based upon the added residue and they are outputted.
