PURPOSE: A method for testing sound quality of a radio network termination in a wireless local loop is provided so that sound quality of a remote radio network termination can be tested in a radio carrier station, by enabling the test termination to loop back a call sound signal from the radio carrier station. CONSTITUTION: A radio carrier station receives a sound quality test command from an administrator(211), and transmits a sound quality test mode switching request message to a test termination(213). The test termination switches a current mode to a sound quality test mode(215). Here, the test termination and the radio carrier station form a call path for testing sound quality(217). Thereafter, the radio carrier station connects a call to the test termination, namely transmits a call sound for testing the sound quality to the test termination(219). The test termination receives the call sound from the radio carrier station, and loops back the received call sound to the radio carrier station(221). The radio carrier station tests quality of the call sound from the test termination(223). When receiving a sound quality test end command from the administrator(225), the radio carrier station transmits a sound quality test mode cancel request message to the test termination. The test termination receives the sound quality test mode cancel request message from the radio carrier station, and cancels the test mode. It is thus possible to test sound quality of a remote radio network termination. |
