PURPOSE: A method for reducing a downloading time of a database of a CDMA(Code Division Multiple Access) cellular phone network exchange system is provided so that a database backup time can be reduced by excluding unnecessary data from loading objects, when replacing a system S/W package or re-driving a processor. CONSTITUTION: A catalog formation unit(120) embodies a schema design process, thus performing a schema defining process and a catalog forming process. The schema defining process adds new DDL for defining ID of relation to be excluded in the loading process. The catalog forming process builds information defined as new DDL by a tool for generating a catalog in a loading file of the catalog. A PLD formation unit(130) of a host system(100) generates PLD varied according to a loading reduction function, by using a tool for generating the PLD. A DBMS information region of the PLD is built to perform the loading reduction function according to UNLOAD_INFORM file of the catalog generated by the catalog formation unit(120). The PLD generated in the PLD formation unit(130) of the host system(100) is recorded in CT or DAT in an I/O unit(140) of the host system(100), and dumped in a system disc(230) through an I/O unit(220) of a CDMA cellular phone network exchange system(200). A loader(250) loads the PLD stored in the system disc(230) to a main memory(240). A DBMS(260) resets the excluded data. Accordingly, the data backup time corresponding to the excluded data can be reduced. |
