METHOD FOR COOLING HOT ROLLED STEEL SHEET

PURPOSE: A cooling method of a hot rolled steel sheet is provided to exactly control a temperature by reflecting a change of a peripheral air condition in a decision of an injected water amount. CONSTITUTION: In cooling a hot steel sheet, a correlation formula between moisture remained amount in peripheral air and a compensating coefficient is calculated. In cooling the following hot steel sheet, moisture remained amount in the peripheral air is calculated. A corrected compensating coefficient is calculated by substituting the moisture remained amount with the correlation formula. A final compensating coefficient is calculated with a weighted mean method by using the corrected compensating coefficient and a compensating coefficient about the latest production of the same material. A compensated injected water amount is calculated by applying the final compensating coefficient to a next cooling operation of the hot steel sheet. Thereby, the hot steel sheet is cooled.
