APPARATUS FOR MODULATING MULTI USER SIGNALS ACCORDING TO SECTORS OF BASE STATION IN MOBILE COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

PURPOSE: An apparatus for modulating multi user signals according to sectors of a base station in a mobile communication is provided to simultaneously modulate the multi user signals by using one hardware, and to simultaneously combine the multi user signals corresponding to one sector. CONSTITUTION: If receiving data are transmitted to a base station, a microprocessor(100) generates an area set signal for storing the received data in areas distributed according to channels. If the receiving data are stored in a memory, the microprocessor(100) generates an interrupt for encoding the receiving data. The first dual port RAM(200) stores the receiving data according to the area set signal, in a corresponding area. An encoder/interleaver(300) encodes and interleaves the receiving data according to the interrupt. The second dual port RAM(400) stores the receiving data in a corresponding area. A diffuser(500) multiplies a pseudo noise code by the receiving data and diffuses the receiving data. A digital combiner(600) combines multi user signals outputted in the diffuser(500).
