PURPOSE: A tilt hinge structure reduces the number of parts and manufacturing cost and improves the connection relation of a universal joint and a steering column which is tilted. CONSTITUTION: A tilt hinge structure comprises a mounting bracket(4) and a hinge member(5). A bolt(6) is inserted through the middle of the hinge member(5) and engaged with a vehicle body. If the tilt hinge structure is operated in a completely engaged state, a steering shaft is rotated and the front portion or the rear portion of the tilt hinge structure is a bit pushed down because the hinge member(5) is made of an elastic rubber(or synthetic resin material). Therefore, the lower end of the steering column becomes to be able to rotate the hinge member(5) to a supporting portion.
