PURPOSE: A commodity sale system and method is provided to enable a user to purchase a commodity without directly accessing the commodity sale service site so that it can attract more purchasers. CONSTITUTION: The system comprises a purchase request device(10), an internet(20), a sale server(30), and an intermediate server(40). The purchase request device(10), connected to the intermediate server(40) over the internet(20), enables a user to request a commodity purchase. The sale server(30) includes a central process unit(31) and a database(33). The database(33) comprises a commodity information database(331), a sale record management database(332) and a site operation database(333). The commodity information database(331) stores information on commodities for sale in the service site. The intermediate server(40) transmits a commodity code, selected by the user, and an identification code to the sale server(30). The sale server(30) receives the commodity code and the identification code, and checks if the commodity code exists in the case that the user orders the selected commodity.
