METHOD FOR PREPARING WORSTED FABRIC HAVING GOOD SOFTER FEEL

PURPOSE: A method for preparing worsted fabric is provided by combining polyester elastic fiber having excellent heat stability, alkali resistance and compatibility with polyester fiber, and bi-polyester fiber having different shrinkage, therefore the produced fabric offers a softer feel and sleeker appearance. CONSTITUTION: The method for preparing worsted fabric comprises the steps of: doing air interlacing of: 5-25wt.% of polyester elastic fiber based on total air interlaced yarn; 0.5-1.5denier of easy dyeable modified polyester fiber; and high-shrinkage polyester fiber; knitting the air interlaced fiber as warp; and knitting polyester multi filament yarn as a weft.
