PURPOSE: A cleanser composition for women containing propolis is provided, which can be applied on skin easily, shows specific inhibiting or sterilizing activity to harmfulness bacillus and fungi in the vagina, shows also good odor-removing effect, helps degradation of fat on the surface of mucous membrane, and shows good cleansing activity without irritation. CONSTITUTION: A process for the preparation of cleanser composition for women containing propolis is comprised of: adding 99.9% ethanol to original propolis lump, and extracting propolis by leaving in the shade for 2days at 5deg.C; filtering with a Wattman paper, concentrating the filtrate using rotary vacuum distiller, adn distilling residual moisture in a desiccator to get the black-brown powdered propolis; dissolving in distilled water with perfume, cooling slowly, adjusting pH to be 3.5; meanwhile, pouring excessive quantity of water to green tea leaves to get tea extract, collecting supernatant, and distilling filtrate to get green tea extract; mixing the propolis and the green tea extract, adding distilled water, heating to 70deg.C, stirring for 30minutes using a Teflon magnetic stirrer, distilling water, drying in a desiccator, adding perfume, and making to be granules.
