PURPOSE: A packing container for fermented food is provided prevent the leakage of soup from the packing container by forming a vent hole for discharging gas while containing a dam for stopping the soup. CONSTITUTION: Inner and outer protrusions(12,16) are formed along an upper circumferential side of a packing container while containing a dam(14) between the two protrusions for stopping the leakage of soup. Plural vent holes(22a,22b) are formed on inner and outer protrusions for discharging the gas generated in the container. A first groove(18) is formed between the inner protrusion and the dam for collecting the soup. A second groove(20) collects the soup climbing over the dam while guiding the gas between the dam and the outer protrusion. The upper side of inner and outer protrusions contains grooves of V, U, rectangular, and semicircle shapes. An auxiliary container is combined with a lower portion of a container body for storing Kimchi.
