PURPOSE: A seat-less back of a chair is provided to be easily installed, removed, kept and carried as the volume and weight of the back is reduced. CONSTITUTION: A back of a chair consists of a fixing member(10), a supporting member(20), and a back supporting member(30). The fixing member is installed in a base, and the supporting member is connected to the one upper end of the fixing member. The back supporting member is fixed in the upper side of the supporting member. In the fixing member, a housing(14) is installed on a rubber plate(12), and a spring is inserted in a connecting bar. One end of the connecting bar is fixed in the upper part of the rubber plate, and the other end is projected from the upside of the housing. An operating handle(18) is formed at the end of the connecting bar by a fixing pin(19). One end of the supporting member is inserted in the fixing member, and the back supporting member is fixed in the other end of the supporting member by a screw nail(24).
