PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for driving the ear-mike of a telephone are provided to prevent operating errors from occurring by including an additional key besides the key for sending or ending and using combinations of two keys. CONSTITUTION: A connection unit(210) connects the ear-mike(100) and a wire or wireless telephone(200) for the sake of communication. An audio processing unit(240) processes transmitting sound or receiving sound. A routing unit(270) opens or shorts the mike of the ear mike to the audio processing unit(240). A memory(260) stores the last dialing phone number. A control unit(250) detects the first combination input of the first key(110) and the second key(120) transmitted from the ear mike(100) via the connection unit(210), then accesses the memory(260) to find the last dialing phone number, and detects the second combination input, then tries to call by dialing the last dialing phone number.
