PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the change of efficiency due to the change of output and to prolong the life of a battery. SOLUTION: Plural highly efficient power amplifiers(HPA) 11, 12, 13 and 14 with comparatively small power are connected in parallel. A distributor 15 distributes input power to all the highly efficient power amplifiers with comparatively small power. The highly efficient power amplifiers which are equivalent to a number decided in accordance with necessary output power are validated and power is supplied to a power synthesizer 16. In the method of switching by the switching circuit, respective power source are turned on and gate current is controlled or gate current is fixed and drain current is controlled. |
