PURPOSE: A radiating heat exchanger and geothermal system using the same is provided to reduce pressure loss by decreasing the length of flow channel, and easily handle the change of cooling/heating load by separating the return tank from the water supply tank. CONSTITUTION: A radiating heat exchanger comprises a distribution rod(22) having a working fluid inlet chamber(22a) and a working fluid outlet channel(22b) arranged in upper and lower portions of the distribution rod, respectively; and a working fluid passage(28) having a plurality of working fluid heat exchanger tubes(24). A plurality of diaphragms(26) are installed in a horizontal direction at a predetermined spacing within the working fluid heat exchanger tube, in such a manner that the working fluid passage is shaped as near S which is communicated to the working fluid inlet chamber and the working fluid outlet chamber. The working fluid introduced through the working fluid inlet chamber is distributed to the working fluid passage, and discharged through the working fluid outlet chamber, thus achieving heat exchange operation between the underground heat source and the working fluid.
