PURPOSE: An ultraviolet cured overpaint varnish composition is provided which has improved stability, curing ability and printability as well as good adhesiveness to metal and processability by being comprised of epoxy oligomer, low-viscosity monomer, photopolymerization initiator and solvent and consequently is suitably used for manufacturing a can . CONSTITUTION: A varnish composition cured with ultraviolet is characterized by consisting of: 30wt%-50wt% of an epoxy oligomer, 10wt%-30wt% of a monomer having 1-2 functional groups, with low viscosity, 10wt%-20wt% of a thermosetting acryl resin, 5wt%-10wt% of acetophenone compound, a photopolymerization initiator excited by ultraviolet ray, and a solvent having less than 100 deg.C of boiling point, selected from acetone, ethylacetate, benzene, isopropyl acetate. The composition is applied over a sizer coating selected from a group consisting of thermosetting epoxy coat and vinyl coat or organic ink or UV type ink which can be coated on the sizer coat. |
