PURPOSE: A folder-type cellular phone is provided to enable the cellular phone to be used without opening a folder, by installing a display part, various buttons, a speaker and a microphone at the outside of the cellular phone. CONSTITUTION: A transmission part is provided on the external surface of a body(30). A plurality of key buttons are installed on the external surface thereof. A display part(36) for illustrating a character and a number and a reception part(38) are installed on the external surface(32a) of a folder(32). A hinge(34) couples the folder(32) to the body(30). The folder(32) may be rotated by 240 degrees centering around the hinge part(34), so that it can be opened and closed. A groove-type handle(44) is formed at one side of the folder(32). The handle(44) enables an operational force to be applied to the folder(32) when the folder(32) is opened from the body(30).
