PURPOSE: A repeater using an MSK(Minimum Shift Keying) method is provided to expand a communication distance between data terminals using the MSK method, so as to expand an operation radius of a communication device. CONSTITUTION: A repeater is mounted between data terminals(300,500). The repeater comprises as follows. The first MSK(Minimum Shift Keying) modulator/demodulator(410) modulates and demodulates transceiving signals of the first data terminal(300) with an MSK method. The second MSK modulator/demodulator(415) modulates and demodulates transceiving signals of the second data terminal(500) with the MSK method. An automatic tranceiving controller(460) controls the modulation/demodualtion operations of the first/second MSK modulators/demodulators(410,415). Each of the first/second MSK modulator/demodulator(410,415) comprises as follows. MSK modulators/demodulators(310,510) modulate serial transmitting data(TX_DATA) into MSK signals, and demodulate the received MSK signals into serial receiving data(RX_DATA). Transformers(350,450,455,550) transform the transceiving signals. TX buffers(320,420,425,520) and RX buffers(340,440,445,540) perform an impedance-matching with the transformers(350,450,455,550). AGC(Automatic Gain Control) circuits(330,430,435,530) control gains for controlling the received signals to a constant level.
