DEVICE FOR CONTROLLING TENSION OF FELT PAD IN HOOP STRIP

PURPOSE: A tension controller of a felt pad in a hoop strip is provided to prevent a generation of a scrap by independently giving the uniform pressure into each hoop strip. CONSTITUTION: A tension controller of a felt pad contains a tension controller to control tensions of each hoop strip by simultaneously lifting pressing members (18) and individually controlling unevenness of the hoop strip with the pressing members; and a felt cloth replacing device to continuously replace felt clothes (26,28). In taking-up the hoop strip (2), a hydraulic cylinder (12) drops a moving frame by shrinking. The upper felt cloth (26) is pressed by dropping the pressing members under the hydraulic cylinder. A hoop strip is pressurized with the lower felt cloth (28) by loosening the felt cloth (26) and pressurizing the hoop strip (2). A worker controls a control valve (22) during watching each pressure gauge (24) not to generate a looping between hoop strips (2) by pressurizing the hoop strip (2) with each pressing member (18) at proper pressure.
