PURPOSE: A flat chip resistor is provided to sufficiently lower a resistance value by forming a zero-ohm chip resistor using a metal chip and to reduce a cost by simplifying a process. CONSTITUTION: Concave portions are respectively formed at a center portion of each upper and lower surface of a massive structure so as to be overlapped. The concave portions of a metal chip(20) are filled by a polymer(24). A nickel layer(27) and an alloy layer(29) are formed on both ends by putting the resultant meta chip in a plating solution. A making of the same shape is formed on a surface, which is formed by the polymer(24), according to the above-described method.
